ccTLD Names Council Elections

Initial Anouncement of Election sent 6 July 1999:

Dear ccTLD Adminstrators:

You have received this mail because you are listed as the Admistrative Contact for a ccTLD registry in the IANA database and therefore have a vote in forthcoming elections to appoint ccTLD representatives to the Names Council of the Domain Name Support Organisation.
This list will only be used for announcements concerning the elections and voting procedures and is not a discussion list. To respect those who do not wish to become too involved ion the debate, comments on this or any other issues relating to ccTLDs should be posted to wwtld@ripe.net .
On this basis I hope you are able to remain subscribed to this election list and use your vote(see below). If you represent more than one constituency, you will have received even more versions for which I apologise but as each registry gets an electronic vote and the traffic will be low, I hope you can accept this situation until a more streamlined method is found.
If you ar also on the wwTLD list, I again apologise for the duplication but it is essential to reach all who are entitled to vote.
