Income vs. Expenditure Report from the Interim Secretariat

Start-up, June to 12 October 2000

The Interim Secretariat started its operations last week of June 2000.

Until 12 October 2000, both THNIC and AFNIC did advanced funds, whilst the ccTLD account started to receive the membership fees.

The start-up expenses has been approved by Kanchana Kanchanasut, the Executif Director.

It was decided to not reimbourse THNIC and AFNIC claims immediately, but to keep them in the Secretariat bank account until more fees get paied, Abhisak expenses are considered the highest priority.

The translations are in "UNPAID" column, but is is the Secretariat's committments.

At the date of 12 October:

The income as estimated in Secretariat's proposal should be 35 700 USD (3 times 11 900 USD).
The cumulated income vs. expenditures (expenses+claims) indicates 29 858,92 vs. 31 221,10 USD.
The balance is slightly in red, -1 362,18 USD.

The reminder for membership fees has been sent out to all, emphasizing a request for European contributions.

The cost of physical meeting in Marina del Rey, California, has been carefully estimated. There will be a US$100 donation registration fee and it's on voluntary basis. A time slot has been dedicated to presentation from name dispute's service providers, requested for a sponsorship.

It is expected that Marina del Rey's meeting cost be covered from participant's fees, but monthly expenses of the Secretariat request for Members' voluntary contributions.

In the end of November:

The income estimated in Secretariat's proposal should be 59 500 USD (5 times 11 900 USD).
