With regard to the issue at hand it probably doesn't matter much but nevertheless
importance needs to be attached to the assertion that the number of domain names
registered with a registry is _not_ an indicator of this registry's economic well
being.

We had this discussion at ccTLD meetings several times and I'd like to emphasize
that there are registries which have very restrictive rules and charge high fees
whereas others have liberal rules and charge low fees. The former kind of registry
is likely to have way less domain names registered than the latter but will at the
same time be significantly wealthier.

I thus suggest a different indicator be chosen in future like, for example, the
revenue per registered domain name.
