All,

The ccTLD community, albeit without success in the end,
took quite some effort to get rid of the NomCom
appointees on the ccNSO Council. The reason was that
we did not want people to have a say in ccTLD matters
that have not been chosen in a transparent and democratic
election by the ccTLDs. How the Launching Group now
attempts to act as their own little NomCom appointing
additional members without exactly such a transparent
and democratic process, is beyond me.

Furthermore, the ccTLD community criticized ICANN time
and time again for rushing through processes and thus
sacrifying transparency and democracy to speed. How the
Launching Group now attempts to do the very same thing
is also not comprehensible.
